K4DD Mpox Health Evidence Summaries
K4DD produced a series of summaries, sharing the latest health evidence related to Mpox. These were designed to signpost FCDO, other UK government departments, and anyone with an interest, to inform and support their response to the Mpox outbreak.
These rapid summaries include peer-reviewed literature, restricted to the most recent articles published at the time, in English. This was complemented by a search of the homepage of the following high-impact global health journals such as The Lancet journals, New England Journal of Medicine, Nature, and more.
All primary research papers that relate to the primary and secondary impacts of the Mpox response in lower- middle-income countries (LMICs), and disease control and health system responses are included. Articles related to tackling the secondary impacts on other sectors are not included. Additional commentaries, opinions, and commissioned pieces are selected based on relevance.
K4DD also produces monthly Humanitarian Discourse and Evidence Summaries.
