This K4DD Rapid Evidence Review, drawing on academic and grey literature (e.g. technical documents, reports) finds that there are extensive calls for embedding and operationalising health equity principles across sectors, and many examples of where pro-equity approaches have been implemented.

However, the current evidence base on the impact of these approaches is relatively weak, and there is little evidence on best practices for how equity impacts should be monitored and evaluated.
