31st December 2025

This K4DD Rapid Evidence Review provides an overview of the literature on climate change and its effects on Morocco’s water supply, its agricultural sector and the wider economy.

The report starts with a summary of the country’s water sector, the role of the government and the current projections for the effects of climate change on future water supply. The second section outlines the strategic agricultural sector and its linkages with the growing threats of climate shocks and recurrent droughts.

The last section provides summaries of literature on how climate change will affect the economy.
